MY FAVOURITE SINGER : DESPINA VANDI by ANTIGONE TSIVANIDOU

I think everybody who likes music knows Despina Vandi, because she is the best singer in Greece. She is famous for her voice and songs, and that’s why I like her.

Despina Vandi certainly looks like a top model. She is tall, very thin with long black hair and friendly brown eyes. Also, she has got a wide grin. She buys very expensive clothes like Prada, Gucci and Versace, and she is the most generous woman I have ever seen. She gives a lot of concerts and she gives the money from the tickets to charities.

Her personality, too, is very friendly. She loves children very much. She fell in love with Demis Nikolaidis, who is the best football player in AEK, and soon they will get married. In her free time she plays tennis, volleyball and basketball and goes to a gym. Also, she goes out with her friends and she enjoys cooking when she is alone at home.

All in all, everybody from the smallest child to the biggest man or woman loves her because she is a warm, caring and friendly person. So, a lot of girls dream that when they grow up they will be a beautiful singer like the best of the best, Despina Vandi.

Antigone Tsivanidou is an eleven year old student at the Fourth Primary School in Katerini. Her interests include music, reading and ballet dancing. She is learning English with John Foss, and is planning on taking the Cambridge FCE examination next year.
